Nick Holloway and Howard Smith appointed Joint Administrators of The Regenerative Clinic Limited on 18 May 2023.
The Regenerative Clinic provided regenerative treatments in orthopaedics, aesthetics, and gynaecology. During the pandemic, the company provided COVID-19 testing services. Due to the early termination of a key contract supplying these testing services to TV and film production studios, along with insufficient demand for its historic core business of regenerative treatments, the company’s revenue became insufficient to cover its cost base.
The Joint Administrators are focussed on a controlled shutdown of the business. This will include collecting outstanding debts under the key contract and realising the value of the medical equipment owned by the business with the intention of making a distribution to creditors.
Six employees have been made redundant and the Joint Administrators will assist them with making claims to the Redundancy Payments Service for arrears of wages and holiday pay, to the extent that there are any.
