Interpath Advisory announces arrival of Ryan Grant as Managing Director

Interpath Advisory, the independent financial advisory business, has announced the arrival of experienced restructuring advisor and insolvency practitioner Ryan Grant as Managing Director.

Ryan’s arrival comes as the firm also announces the appointment of five new directors and a total of 51 further promotions across the business, as it continues to invest in its growing suite of advisory services.

Ryan Grant joins Interpath from BDO where he was a Restructuring Partner. An experienced mid-market restructuring advisor and insolvency practitioner, Ryan’s recent appointments have included Bathstore.com, DW Sports and Deltic Group, the UK’s leading nightclub operator. Prior to BDO, Ryan spent over eight years as a partner at Zolfo Cooper and Alix Partners where he led their Midlands business and, prior to that, six formative years at KPMG.

Interpath has also confirmed the appointment of five new directors – Rob Allard, who joins Interpath’s Transaction Services team from YM&U Group, as well as Natasha Harbinson, Alex Watkins, Sam Birchall and Nick Burberry who have been promoted from within the business.

A further 51 colleagues have been promoted across the business, from associate through to associate director.

Since Interpath Advisory launched in May 2021, the firm has grown from 43 managing directors and 507 staff to a team of 57 managing directors and 524 staff.

Blair Nimmo, chief executive of Interpath Advisory commented: “We are delighted to announce one of the largest rounds of promotions in our business’ 50 year history, and in particular, to welcome Ryan and our five new directors to our senior team.

“Ryan brings with him a wealth of experience advising on significant restructurings, and his arrival represents an important investment in our National Markets team.”

Blair added: “The appointments of Rob Allard and Sam Birchall as directors in our growing Transaction Services and M&A teams is testament to the way in which these teams have hit the ground running since we announced our expansion into mainstream Deal Advisory last autumn. We continue to see a wealth of opportunity in this space, and indeed in our wider advisory service lines where we plan to make further strategic hires over the weeks and months ahead.”
