Interpath Advisory has announced the appointment of experienced hires Bruce Keeble and Gina Bieber to help expand its fast-growing Data & Technology group.
Bruce Keeble will lead the firm’s new Digital Resilience service offering, building on the firm’s existing Digital Forensic and eDiscovery capabilities.
Bruce was previously head of Cyber Security Consulting at Nortal, and formerly held a leadership role for Booz Allen Hamilton, leading digital forensics and incident response internationally and serving Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients. Bruce has more than two decades of forensic and investigation experience involving criminal and civil matters.
Over the course of his career, Bruce has performed global and cross-border cyber investigations, including leading response efforts on ransomware attacks and providing remediation, as well as the restoration of business operations on behalf of both large international enterprises and SMEs. He started his career as a public servant in the role of a forensic scientist for UK Government, and has acted as an expert witness under cross examination in criminal trials involving digital forensic and telecommunications investigations.
Also joining the team is associate director Gina Bieber, an experienced data governance and ediscovery consultant who is well-versed in helping clients harness technology to sift through complex data sets in investigations and disputes.
Interpath’s Data & Technology group saw a three-fold increase in project work last year, helping clients handle data effectively and use technology across a wide range of business critical situations including performance improvement, restructuring, disputes and investigations.
Alex Dunstan-Lee, Managing Director and head of Interpath Advisory’s Data & Technology group, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Bruce and Gina to Interpath.
“In today’s increasingly digital corporate environment, data has become the most critical asset for any business so the ever-present risk of cyberattack should be viewed as a fundamental threat to both a company’s value and reputation. However, mitigating data risks, complying with government regulations, and safeguarding against and responding to cyber threats has never been more challenging. Our new Digital Resilience service offering will seek to deliver practical compliance to clients, as well as offering support through such critical incidents.”
Bruce Keeble added: “Cyber threats continue to become ever more sophisticated, leveraging advancements in technology to make attacks harder to evade. I have no doubt we will see more and more high-profile cyberattacks over the next 12 months, as well as increased levels of disputes, litigation, third party risk management and class actions undertaken across large businesses, particularly in response to incidents that compromise or disrupt supply chains. I look forward to working with Alex and the wider team at Interpath to help our clients navigate these challenges.”
