30 years experience advising boards of distressed corporates across a wide variety of sectors. Steve is a vastly experienced situational expert with a collaborative approach to bringing clarity and strategic direction to boards and their wider key stakeholders.
Substantial knowledge gained as a result of numerous assignments with financial institutions across various sectors including secondments to large banking institutions to work through multi billion non performing loan books.
Broad restructuring skillset in the setting and implementation of a range of strategies for senior stakeholders from refinancing options through to short/ long-term options and eventual exit.
In healthcare, Steve was appointed as Joint Administrator to Three Valleys Healthcare which owned and operated a newly built hospital in the North East following a PFI contract dispute.
Steve has led and managed a large number of high profile insolvency assignments including Planet Organic, Antler Luggage, Azzuri Restaurant Group, Jones the Bootmaker, and the Thomas Cook and Monarch Airlines.

Insolvency Practitioner licenced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
