Private Equity

Managing Director
Rick leads Interpath’s PE team and co-ordinates our approach on a national basis. He has over 17 years’ experience supporting corporates, sponsors, lenders and other stakeholders across a range of value creation, restructuring (value preservation), refinance and AMA services. His experience spans a wide range of sectors including but not restricted to retail, manufacturing, professional & business services, construction, leisure and FS. He has recently supported a number of PE portfolio companies to “reset” their business post Covid 19 and provide a stable platform for future growth and equity creation.

Director
Nathan is a value creation specialist with a wealth of experience of working with PE clients within the UK, continental Europe, North America and APAC covering a vast range of sectors. He focuses specifically on PE and leads our relationship and works on a recurring basis with a number of our PE clients.

Managing Director
Mark has over 15 years of experience working with private equity clients on a wide range of projects from post deal value creation to turnarounds and restructurings. Mark spent 2007-8 seconded to the portfolio team of a Global PE client sitting on the Board of one of their investments as it went through a Restructuring and also assessing the risks across the portfolio as the GFC began.

Managing Director
Will has over 20 years experience advising Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. He provides a full range of restructuring services with a particular focus on assessing and delivering refinancing and sale options in an accelerated timetable. He is sector agnostic albeit has been heavily involved in consumer businesses over recent years and has led our offering in retail and casual dining restructurings and has a special interest in Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs).

Steve is a deal advisory specialist and has over 15 years of experience of advising private equity clients on restructuring situations, leading managed exits and providing sell-side and buy-side support on transactions. Steve worked in KPMG’s Private Equity Transactions Services Team prior to joining restructuring. Since being in restructuring, Steve has worked with numerous private equity portfolio companies from both a value preservation and value creation perspective. Recently, he was seconded as a Portfolio Director to a leading mid-market PE house where he led the exit on two under-performing investments.

Chris has 14 years of turnaround, performance improvement and value creation experience across a wide range of sectors. He leads our Working Capital practice across the North. He specialises in leading and delivering performance improvement programmes including releasing millions of pounds of cash for his clients.

John Miesner leads Interpath’s Debt Advisory team, advising corporates and sponsors on their debt financing needs. The team supports private equity clients through buyside and sellside transactions, recapitalisations and the restructuring of debt facilities.

Suren has a +21 year track record of value creation and is responsible for delivering high-impact operations value creation & transformation. He has experience of managing complex operations turnaround and growth initiatives for organisations with annual P&Ls of $12m to $6.2bn, and a strong track record of scaling businesses organically & inorganically. Suren also led the acquisition and integration of a strategic businesses with large global PE organisations.

Head of M&A Advisory
Neil formerly worked for PwC and was Head of M&A at IMI plc. Neil has extensive experience of advising on
private, PE and corporate transactions in the mid-market, transacting deals between £5 million and £750 million.

Head of Transaction Services
Prior to joining us, Russell worked with PwC for 25 years, and has been involved in over 500 transactions with deal sizes ranging from £1 million to in excess of £3 billion. Russell’s experience includes buy-side and sell-side due diligence on transactions for both PE and corporate clients together with vendor assistance reviews to support PE and corporate disposals.

Head of Valuation Services
Before joining us, Steve was a senior valuations partner at EY. Within the PE markets Steve has advised both deal teams and back office on valuation topics including support on negotiating entry price, carrying values for NAV and intra fund fairness opinions. Inside portfolio companies he has performed purchase price allocations, tax valuations and supported on litigation.
